Meet The Creative Team & Band

Singer, Songwriter, Musician. Drawing from his own personal journey of addiction, homelessness, recovery, and hope, Derek infuses every song he writes with the message to never give up — no matter how far you stumble along the way. His inspiration comes from an eclectic mix of artists such as David Bowie, Queen, Phillip Glass, Prince, Brockhampton, George Michael, Danny Elfman, Stephen Sondheim and Gospel.

Susan McMartin was raised in the theater by her parents, Broadway actor, John McMartin and producer/director, Cynthia Baer. A graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Susan’s writing credits include; FEATURES: MR. CHURCH, REGRETTING YOU, AFTER, SON-IN-LAW. TELEVISION: LEANNE,  MOM,  THE CONNERS, CALIFORNICATION. BOOKS: UNDERSTANDING THE FALL. 

Anne is a Director, Dramaturg and Producer who enjoys collaborating with artists to develop compelling original stories for the stage and screen. Recent projects include; UNCONDITIONAL, a Musical Memoir by Margot Rose, FOUND SUITABLE by Bleu Inkk Watkins. Both productions had exclusive runs at the Skylight and Fountain Theatre. 

Fer made her mark on the international drum scene with the "Hit Like a Girl" Contest. Both a touring and studio musician, Fer has worked with countless top artists and just completed a world tour with artist, Ruel, playing Lollapalooza, South America and supporting Katy Perry's tour in Europe.

Remy was in his first play at the Teatro Juarez Opera House in Guanajuato, Mexico at age three and has been performing ever since. He received a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music. He composed the music for the  Property Master’s Guild’s Awards show and is currently writing music for two children’s cartoons. He is the founding member of “The Randomenagerie”, an artist collective in Los Angeles dedicated to creating independent film and music.

Sam is a touring musician, writer, and educator from Los Angeles. Currently, they are working on their first book of creative meta-non-fiction.
